Significant Increases In London And The South East
Nationwide Building Society report that prices for the UK rose an average of 0.9% in June with the quarterly change going positive for the first time since December 2007..
Prices in London for the second quarter rose 4.8% with the Outer Metropolitan Area following the historical trend and performing strongly. |

Demand Outstripping Supply
The National Association of Estate Agents report in their May survey that demand is outstripping supply across the UK housing market with
agents registering four home hunters for every available property. Of particular significance is that first time buyers now represent
over 40% of the enquiries. The NAEA reports that the market is now much stronger with high numbers of sales during the past three months. |

 |
Gap Narrowing
The RICS reports that the gap between asking prices and selling prices is narrowing as new buyer enquiries and sales increase.

Loans Increasing
The Council of Mortgage Lenders report that loan approvals rose in May. The British Bankers' Association have revealed that mortgage
approvals are at a 13 month high and HIS Insight economists report that the housing market is trending upwards - a view endorsed
by Reuters in a poll of city economists.
It is now clear that research from the various sources indicates a revival of the market in the South East with prices now on the
increase and new properties in particular becoming in short supply. Environ has experienced its own visitor numbers nearly doubling
in the last month.

Alterations To Plots 61 & 49
In response to customer comment we are currently installing additional windows to Plot 61 to maximise on daylight and views of the Green. It
will now have a great location next to the ancient woodland as well as plenty of light from the south and west.
We are also redesigning the front steps to plot 49 to make the access far more pleasant with an entrance courtyard with wider and
shallower steps which will make the entrance far more imposing.
We appreciate any comments received and will strive to act upon any suggestions.
